The 2019 Chevy Colorado has a number of minor upgrades for the new model year. There are three new exterior colors for the year 2019 - Crush, Shadow Gray Metallic and Pacific Blue Metallic. These colors will replace the outgoing exterior colors - Centennial Blue Metallic, Wheatland Yellow, Deepwood Green Metallic, and Graphite Metallic. Additional changes to the exterior include black bowtie logo design and the 18-inch Dark Argent metallic cast aluminum wheel on the Colorado ZR2 models. On the interior, the 2019 Colorado features a second microphone over the front passenger's side seat. Also, there are new USB ports available for the 2019 model.
The 2019 Chevy Colorado offers four trim levels - Base, WT, LT, and Z71. Standard equipment on the Base model includes 4-wheel antilock disc brakes, electronic traction control, rear wheel drive, 16-inch ultra silver metallic steel wheels, black beltline moldings, black door handles, black manual outside mirrors, daytime running lamps, halogen headlamps, 2-way manual front passenger seat, 3.5-inch diagonal monochromatic Driver Information Screen, 4-way power driver seat, 6-speaker audio system, carpeted floor covering, Chevrolet infotainment 3 system with 7-inch diagonal color touchscreen, driver and front passenger visors with passenger mirror and dual rear seats with under seat storage.
Available equipment include 8-speed automatic transmission, Cat-Back Performance Exhaust System, chrome recovery hooks, polished exhaust tip, 17-inch 265/65R17 Goodyear® Wrangler DuraTrac® maximum traction, 17-inch gloss-black aluminum wheels, bedliner with integral storage compartments, chrome tailgate handle, illuminated gold bowtie emblem, performance Skid Plate Package, Power Package and Premium Interior Package and Premium Protection Package.
The 2019 Chevy Colorado offers three powertrains. Those looking for an economical option, there is the standard 2.5 Liter 4-cylinder engine that offers up to 200 horsepower and 191 foot-pounds of torque with Direct Fuel Injection, Variable Valve Timing and a Dual Overhead Camshaft design. For those who need extra torque, there is the 2.8 Liter Duramax Turbo-Diesel 4-cylinder engine that offers up to 181 horsepower and an incredible 369 foot-pounds of torque. For those looking for some serious horsepower and performance, there is the optional 3.6 Liter V-6 engine that offers up to 308 horsepower and 275 foot-pounds of torque with Direct Fuel Injection, Variable Valve Timing and Dual Overhead Camshaft design.
The 2019 Chevy Colorado offers a number of standard passive and active safety equipment.
