The Silverado EV ZR2 Tackles The Mint 400

Chevy has continually advanced its pickup truck capabilities over the years. The Silverado EV ZR2 concept took part in the renowned Mint 400 off-road race. This electric-powered racer completed the challenging 73-mile route, proving its toughness on rugged terrain. Chevy also showcased its gasoline Silverado ZR2 and Colorado ZR2 in the same race.

Jaw-Dropping Power

The Silverado EV ZR2 features three electric motors that produce an estimated 1,100 hp and 11,500 lb-ft of torque. It provides exhilarating acceleration and strong towing capacity. Upon finishing the Mint 400, the EV ZR2 still had 40 percent of its battery left.

Off-Road Enhancements from Chevy

Chevrolet equipped the Silverado EV ZR2 concept with off-road-focused hardware. It includes Multimatic Adaptive Spool Valve dampers providing over 13 inches of travel, locking differentials for traction, underbody skid protection, 37-inch BF Goodrich KM3 Mud Terrain tires, and a suspension lift for better ground clearance.

2026 Silverado EV Trail Boss on Deck

Chevrolet will launch the Silverado EV Trail Boss this summer. This model arrives with a factory lift kit, red tow hooks, 35-inch all-terrain tires, and a new Terrain Mode, offering uncompromised electric off-road performance.
