What Does Chevrolet Suggest for a Chevrolet Suburban Maintenance Schedule?
You can do a lot with your Chevy Suburban. It's a great everyday driver, but you can also use it for comfortable road trips. Large families love the spacious interior, and there is plenty of standard safety features included. To keep your vehicle in tip-top shape, Van Chevrolet AZ suggests that you follow the Chevrolet Suburban service intervals that are outlined in your owner's manual for your specific trim level and model year.
15,000-Mile Service
If you haven't already had one performed, 15,000-miles is the perfect time to have an oil change performed. We also want to look at your brakes during this appointment to make sure that your brake pads are wearing down at an appropriate level. Tires will be checked for even tread wear, and safety features inspected include your headlights, windshield wipers, and more.
30,000-Mile Service
It's time for another inspection of your brake pads, rotors, tires, safety features, and an oil change will be performed. We recommend having your fuel filter and air filter replaced, though you may need to make this a more frequent job if you're doing a lot of driving in dusty climates.
60,000-Mile Service
Chevrolet has a number of service tasks that have been added to the 60,000-mile service appointment. There may have been the need for your brakes to be serviced already, but we'll check these parts if you haven't yet had them looked at. We'll also take a look at your coolant levels and transmission fluid. They usually need to be serviced before your vehicle reaches 75,000-miles.
90,000-Mile Service
A repeat of much of the 60,000-mile appointment will be performed again at 90,000-miles. There are additional parts that need to be inspected and serviced by our team, such as your timing belt, power steering fluid, various hoses, and spark plugs.
At Van Chevrolet AZ, we encourage you to regularly schedule your service appointments at our Scottsdale location. We can ensure that your vehicle is being inspected and serviced by one of the top service professionals in the area. This will help prevent catastrophic issues in many cases, but we also want to make sure that your vehicle is dependable when you need to rely on it most. Let us know if you have questions about the suggested maintenance intervals that Chevrolet has outlined for us.
