The 2026 Trax comes in five trims. The LS base model features standard amenities, including an 8.0-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto compatibility, a Wi-Fi hotspot, and a four-speaker audio system.
The 1RS enhances its sporty presence with 18-inch machined alloy wheels and a distinctive grille. Inside, it features red accents and a race-inspired steering wheel.
The LT adds upgrades such as an 11.0-inch HD touchscreen, a digital gauge cluster, and automatic climate control.
The 2RS combines a stylish exterior with conveniences like heated front seats and keyless entry.
The ACTIV trim gives the Trax a more adventurous look and adds features like a power-adjustable driver's seat.
How Much Horsepower Does the 2026 Trax Have?
All trims use the same 1.2L turbocharged ECOTEC engine rated at 137 horsepower and 162 lb-ft of torque. A six-speed automatic sends power to the front wheels, providing a smooth ride and agile handling.
What Safety Features Does the 2026 Trax Include?
Standard Chevy Safety Assist includes six safety technologies. Front Pedestrian Braking helps in city driving, while Lane Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning helps prevent unintentional drifting. The suite also consists of a Following Distance Indicator, Forward Collision Alert with Automatic Emergency Braking, and IntelliBeam High Beam Assist.
