What's New For the 2021 Chevrolet Trailblazer?

The 2021 Chevy Trailblazer back after a 12-year absence from the Chevy lineup. Everything on this compact SUV is new from the exterior design to the interior features and the powertrain line-up. This compact SUV offers to seat five passengers.

2021 Trailblazer Trims & Features

The 2021 Chevy Trailblazer is available in five trim levels. The trim levels range from the L to the LS to the LT, ACTIV, and finally, the RS trim.

Starting at the base level, the L trim comes standard with 16-inch steel wheels and 16-inch all-season tires. Moving to the inside of the L trim, you will find the 7-inch Chevy color touchscreen, a 4G wi-fi hotspot, a 4-speaker audio system, halogen headlamps, halogen tail lamps, power doors, power windows, air conditioning, and LED daytime running lights.

On the LS trim, the Trailblazer comes with larger 17-inch silver-painted aluminum wheels and 17-inch all-season tires. Inside the LS trim, you will find more upgrades, including carpeted floor mats, a 6-speaker audio system, and a compass display.

The mid-level LT trim upgrades the wheels to 17-inch high gloss black models. The LT trim also brings more upgrades to the exterior, including LED fog lamps, deep-tinted glass, and silver-painted front & rear lower fascias. On the inside, the LT trim adds a 10-way power driver's seat, cruise control, remote start, keyless open, and a heated driver & passenger seat.

The ACTIV trim comes standard with 17-inch sport terrain tires, LED taillamps, titanium chrome-plated front & rear lower fascias, a leather-wrapped shift knob, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel.

Finally, the RS trim gives you leatherette seat trim, black front & rear lower fascias, and 18-inch high gloss black aluminum wheels.

2021 Chevy Trailblazer Horsepower

For the 2021 model year, the Trailblazer comes with two powertrain options. First, you have the 1.2-liter ECOTEC turbo engine with up to 137 horsepower. Also available is the optional 1.3-liter ECOTEC turbo engine with 155 horsepower.

The 2021 Chevy Trailblazer comes standard with over 20 safety features on all of their models. Some of the top standard safety features include the LATCH child seating system, ten airbags, automatic emergency braking, lane-keeping assist with lane departure warning, following distance indicator, forward collision alert, a rear vision camera, and front pedestrian braking. For those who want enhanced safety features, the Trailblazer offers a selection of available safety options, including lane change alert with side blind zone alert, rear park assist and rear cross-traffic alert.
