Packed With Amenities

Like before, the Tahoe is available in LS, LT and Premier trims. There's also the new RST Edition and RST Performance Edition packages, which can be had on LT and Premier models. It adds a variety of special design cues, including blacked-out wheels and badging. The entry-level LS comes fitted with automatic wipers and 18-inch wheels, while the cabin includes tri-zone climate control, Bluetooth, a 10-way power-adjustable driver seat and leather-wrapped steering. Also included is a trailer hitch receiver with a wiring harness, making it easy to connect and disconnect your equipment.

The LT comes with much of the same equipment, but adds leather upholstery, heated front seats, driver-seat memory settings and nine-speaker Bose stereo system. Buyers who want even more features can opt for the available Luxury package, which tacks on power-folding mirrors, foglights, blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert for added safety.

At the top of the heap is the Premier model. It comes with the same gear as the Luxury package and gains xenon headlights, 20-inch wheels, an adaptive suspension and 12-way power front seats for maximum comfort.

Two Powertrains

Most models employ a 5.3-liter V8, delivering a truly impressive 353 horsepower and 383 pound-feet of torque. Both rear-wheel and four-wheel drive are offered.
