The Corvette is known for its bold presence, and this year it is making a statement for charity. Chevrolet has partnered with the American Cancer Society for a 15-year collaboration, introducing a pink Corvette as the official pace vehicle for the NASCAR Cup Series. This initiative aims to engage racing fans in the fight against breast cancer.
Chevrolet and the American Cancer Society Combine Forces
Chevrolet has long supported the “Making Strides Against Breast Cancer” initiative. The pink Corvette will be front and center at Talladega Superspeedway and Martinsville Speedway. Chevrolet has pledged $500 for every caution lap led by the pace vehicle (capped at $25,000) and $1,500 for every Team Chevy driver in the top 10 (capped at $25,000). In 2024, the initiative raised nearly $19,000 during the races. Additionally, Chevrolet auctions its pace cars to provide further funding for the American Cancer Society.
