Changes for 2014: In addition to the standard five-speed manual transmission, this year's shoppers can choose an optional continuously variable transmission (CVT) that improves acceleration, raises fuel economy to 30 mpg city / 39 mpg highway, and diminishes engine noise when the vehicle travels at high speed. Both are paired with the same peppy 84-horsepower, Ecotec 1.2-liter four-cylinder engine from last year. 2014 is also the first full model year that the LT will offer access to new advanced onboard technologies like TuneIn global radio, BringGo in-dash navigation (with app purchase) and Siri Eyes Free voice recognition (with compatible iPhones).
