Chevy Spark Gets Sporty New ‘Activ’ Trim

Charming, spunky and, now, sporty—the city-bred compact commuter ventures down new paths with the 2017 Chevy Spark Activ. Adding athletic styling and trail-inspired accessories, as well as more creature comforts, the Spark Activ is sure to be a hit among compact buyers in Scottsdale.

“The new Spark Activ is all about adventurous fun and style,” said Steve Majoros, Chevrolet director of Car and Crossover Marketing. “It has an attitude, while still offering the sophisticated, efficient and connected driving experience customers have come to love.”

The Spark Activ shows off with unique 15-inch wheels, roof rails, skid plates, silver rocker moldings, and black cladding across the front and rear fascias, wheel wells and hatchback lid. It also gets an updated grille design and larger, round fog lights. This variation of the mini-car stands 0.4 inch taller than other trims.

Inside the cabin, the Spark Activ is outfitted with many upscale amentities. Black leatherette seating, remote keyless entry, heated front seats, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, a rearview camera, a built-in WiFi hotspot and a 7-inch Chevy MyLink system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility are included as standard equipment.

When it comes to performance, all models of the 2017 Chevy Spark are offered with the same great 98-hp, 1.4L four-cylinder engine. Buyers will also have the choice between a continuously variable transmission and a manual gearbox. Fuel economy with the CVT comes in at an EPA-estimated 30 city/37 highway.

The 2017 Chevy Spark Activ will hit the market early next year. You can also view our new inventory of 2017 Spark models online now!
