2017 Chevy Trax Sports New Styling and Features More Tech

If you were a fan of the Chevy Trax when it first debuted on the U.S. market for the 2015 model year, then you’re guaranteed to appreciate its new look and components offered on the 2017 model. More appealing, safer and technology-driven than before, the incoming 2017 Trax is prepared to take the small CUV segment by storm.

Offered in three unique models, LS, LT and the new Premier, the 2017 Chevy Trax is a highly desirable small crossover. For the new model year, it comes complete with a new front and rear fascia, a dual port grille, sleeker headlights and dual taillamps. The interior of the CUV has also been improved and features an attractive dual-cockpit design, a revised center instrument panel with Galvano chrome trim, a new instrument cluster equipped with an updated gauge display and Chevy’s latest 7-inch MyLink color touchscreen infotainment system. Equipped with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and available 4G LTE with Wi-Fi hotspot, the system aims to enhance the overall driving experience.

On the safety front, the Trax now offers Side Blind Zone Alert, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Forward Collision Alert and Lane Departure Alert. However, its powertrains are unchanged for 2017; the model still comes with a 138-horsepower turbo 1.4L four-cylinder, delivering 148 lb.-ft. of torque, and a six-speed automatic transmission.
