Chevrolet Impala Review for 2015 Model Year

There's no doubt that critics and consumers fell in love with the Impala's redesign last year. It gained a more composed ride, new touch-screen interface, bolder styling and even a new fuel-efficient four-cylinder engine. So, how did Chevy decide to follow up this year? Find out in the continuation of our 2015 Chevy Impala review!

Even with last year's comprehensive set of revisions, which critics applauded, Chevy still found room for more improvements when discussing plans for the next Impala. In the second year of its redesign, the sedan offers the following updates: Every new 2015 Chevy Impala, including the LS, LT, LTZ and additional sub-trims, will come standard with 4G LTE and a built-in Wi-Fi hotspot (3GB/three-month data trial). In addition, while the eAssist has been cut from the lineup, a new bi-fuel Impala capable of running on gasoline or compressed natural gas (CNG) will debut this year, and it'll be an excellent option for green car shoppers.

Along with these changes, the Impala's 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine, which was first introduced last year, now gets advanced stop-start technology that offers the benefit of greater miles per gallon. With the ability to turn off the engine in certain driving situations, the stop-start feature has delivered a 5 percent boost in the car's EPA-estimated city mpg rating. For those who prefer more power, Impala's second engine is a 305-hp V-6 (available on select models). If you purchase the new bi-fuel 2015 Chevy Impala in Scottsdale, you'll get a modified version of the V-6 that strikes a balance between efficiency and power with impressive fuel economy estimates and power ratings that slot in above the four-cylinder engine.
